Overview
GiGA Wire is the broadband access network solution based on ITU-T G.hn standard. Conventionally G.hn supports broadband access within home while GiGA Wire extends its applicability to the premises environment including large apartment complex and office buildings. It provides crosstalk mitigation and auto pairing features to support multiple users using bundle cable. With our GiGA Wire solution, you can easily improve Internet connection speed up to 10 times over VDSL in the premises environment where the optical fiber cannot be deployed.
Network Configuration
For GiGA Wire service, GAM(G.hn Access Multiplexer) is needed in the basement of building complex or in communication room, and GNT(G.hn Network Terminal) is also needed in the household. GiGA Wire provides Ethernet-PON(1Gbps & 10Gbps) interface and 1Gbps/10Gbps Ethernet interface.

Frequency Band Plan
GiGA Wire transmission frequency band complies ITU-T G.9961 as shown in the figure below. Even though GiGA Wire frequency band overlaps with VDSL (i.e., 3.5~30MHz ), its transmission power level is low (i.e., -70dBm/Hz), so it does not affect the legacy VDSL service whose transmission power is much higher (i.e., -56.5dBm/Hz). GiGA Wire also provides frequency notching function for the co-existence with other services.
